Fairy Tales from behind the Stove
In the old days, everything was turning around a stove. People heated with it, cooked in it, even slept on it. From behind a stove, however, the most beautiful fairy tales were whispered and songs of our grandmothers and grandfathers were resonating. In this performance, Dorka and Betka are cheerful girls who can transform any hard work to a lovely story, and find the right song for any sorrow. Johnny Peas overpowers the outlaws, Kača falls in love with the devil, and wild animals realise that forest, not a cottage, is their home.
