Prix Ex Aequo 2018
The PRIX EX AEQUO Festival is an international competition for children's and youth radio plays organized by Radio and Television Slovakia (RTVS) in cooperation with the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). The 12th edition of the Festival continues in supporting the creation of radio drama works for children and youth and enables the international exchange in this field. The previous editions of the Festival have proven its long-term ambition to promote the exchange of theoretical, technical and professional expertise at an international level. The creation of radio drama works for children and youth is one of the priorities of RTVS and we try to maintain a decent position within the main stream of innovations and progressive approaches thanks to keeping in contact with the creations of partnering organizations from abroad. The PRIX EX AEQUO is a celebration of radio drama creations for the youngest listeners and of its potential to cultivate the emotional, aesthetic and ethic aspects of the inner world of thoughts of its recipients. The competition is open to Members and Associates of the EBU. The Festival takes place from 13 to 16 November 2018 in the premises of Radio and Television Slovakia – Slovak Radio building at Mýtna street, Bratislava. There are two following competition categories: 1. a radio fairy tale for children 2. a radio play for youth.
