Slovak Animated Express

Projection and Creative Workshops

After many successful activities of the BAB with Slovak animated movies, the Slovak Animated Express began its journey around Slovakia. Besides projections of collections of animated movies, which introduced authors of many generations (including young graduates of the School of Animation at The Academy of Performing Arts), an excellent workshop was organised as well. The director and animator, professor František Jurišič, and lecturer Eva Gubčová (Head of the School of Animation at The Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava), were discussing secrets of production of animated movies with children. Throughout, kids were not only drawing pictures, but also asked questions and competed for the most beautiful drawing.
