Globalisation and Divergence in Children´s Illustrated Book

The phenomenon of globalisation enables a mutual, intellectual, and cultural bonding and linking and, thanks to the Internet, also a strong and almost boundless communication between people. This fact can be seen in translations of children´s books: publishers often use original illustrations instead of creating new one´s. And so, the young reader meets with various cultures and traditions while reading, which may help him to understand the differences.

Perhaps the divergence of the illustrations for children could be a way of how to attract young back to reading.
